Uniform / Kit

Competition Uniform

The Metro club uniform must be worn every competition day.

Uniform consists of Fluoro green singlet or crop top with Club emblem, with the Coles patch sewn on, as they are the current major sponsor of Little Athletics and black shorts, bloomer or bike shorts. A black t-shirt may be worn underneath.

Tops with club emblem are available from the Club at a reasonable price.
Suitable footwear should be worn at all times.

Children in the U12 age group and above may wear spikes.  SPIKES must be 5-7 mm conical or Christmas tree (refer to Whittlesea Centre Handbook for further details).

Athletes will be given a couple of weeks grace period to organised their uniform.
As the season progresses, athletes without Club uniform will not be permitted to compete.

🌞 In line with our sun-smart policy athletes may wear their hats in events, especially on hot days.

Training tops can also be purchased from the club for $35.00 each, these can be worn under the
competition top in cooler weather.

Metro kit

A Whittlesea City singlet must be worn at all Region and State events, this is only applicable to children
who enter these events.

State and Regional Uniform

During the season there is a number of State and Regional competitions Athletes have the opportunity to compete are. At these events we represent the Whittlesea City LAC.  Due to this, a separate Whittlesea City singlet is required and must be worn at there events.  These singlets can be also be used during the Cross Country Season.
